Affordable Childcare: I will fight for and advocate for a universal childcare (for children ages 1 to 3 years old) program (akin to Mayor Bill de Blasio’s Universal Pre-K program) for all working (single and married) parents in my council district and across New York City.

Affordable Housing: I will fight for and advocate for true and real affordable housing that is based on actual incomes of individuals and families in my council district and across New York City.

-Homeowners: I will fight for and advocate for true and real tax credits / tax relief for homeowners in my council district and across New York City.

Campaign Finance Reform: I will fight for and advocate for real campaign finance reform that will change the involvement of money in political campaigns in New York City. I will advocate to eliminate contributions (to candidates for public office) from individuals (especially those who do business with NYC), unions, PACs and other campaign committees. I would advocate for NYC to establish a public financing campaign system where every candidate for public office would receive equal and fair access to the same (amount) resources and monies.

Criminal Justice Reform: I will fight for and advocate for criminal justice reform in New York City; I will advocate for individuals (who are court involved or in the criminal justice system in NYC) to have access to proper representation, low bail bonds (based on personal income & assets), and fair and quick trials. I will advocate and push for the closure of Rikers Island; Rikers Island has been functioning as the gateway to over-incarceration in New York City & State. It has been proven that just a few days in jail can increase the chances that an individual will face future arrest or further incarceration.

Education: I will fight for quality education and after-school programs for all students in NYC (K - 12th Grade). I believe all public & charter schools should be integrated and accessible to all children / students regardless of gender, race, immigration or socioeconomic status; and all students should have equal access to excellent education in all neighborhoods across New York City; both charter and public schools.

I believe all children / students should have the opportunity to learn a trade (skill & certification) before graduating from a New York City Public / Charter School.

I will fight and advocate for funding of Music & Arts Programs in NYC Public Schools (K - 12th Grade). I believe we must give our students a well rounded education that includes music and arts; because music and arts play an important role in our society and culture.

Election Reform: I will fight for and advocate for election reform in New York City; I will advocate to eliminate the need for ballot access procedures and requirements. Instead of the current ballot system, I believe potential candidates for (NYC) public office should be able (allowed) to pay a small (reasonable) fee to have their name appear on New York City election ballots.

Employment: I will fight for and advocate for access to employment opportunities for the unemployed and underemployed individuals in my council district and across New York City. I will seek to create access to “available jobs” across all NYC intergovernmental agencies and within companies that do business with the city of New York.

I will advocate and fight for more social service programs that assist unemployed and underemployed individuals (including our youth and young adults who are out of school, don’t have or do have only a High School Diploma) in my council district and across New York City.

I will advocate and fight for access to more summer youth employment programs and (year-round) young adult employment programs in my council district and across New York City.

Environment: I will fight for and advocate for laws that protect our environment and help create programs for New Yorkers to become better educated on environmental issues in my council district and across New York City.

Equality: I will fight for and stand up for equality for all, regardless of their religious/personal beliefs, gender, sexual preference (Straight & LTBGQIA), race, education, immigration or socioeconomic status.

I believe that every person (male or female) regardless of their gender are born with the right to make (their own) decisions that affect their (own) bodies and that the government should never make the decision (or interfere) on behalf of an individual. I believe that no one’s religious or personal beliefs should have precedence over an individual’s personal rights or choice.

I believe women deserve the same equal pay and benefits as men and should have the same access to every employment opportunity made available to the opposite sex.

I believe every person regardless of their gender or sexual preferences (Straight & LGBTQIA) have the right to legally marry whoever they love.

I believe all children / students regardless of gender, race, immigration or socioeconomic status should have equal access to excellent education in all neighborhoods across New York City; both charter and public schools.

Homelessness: I will fight for and advocate for laws that protect the rights of our homeless veterans, men, women, families and children; I will help create more true and affordable housing where the priority is our homeless veterans and families. I would help create programs for New Yorkers to become better educated on dealing with and combating homelessness in my council district and across New York City.

Immigration: I will fight for and advocate for all immigrants who live in my council district and across New York City.  I would advocate for laws that protect the rights of our immigrant communities in NYC, regardless of their religious/personal beliefs, gender, sexual preference (Straight & LTBGQIA), race, education, immigration or socioeconomic status.

Mental Illness: I will fight for and advocate for laws, programs and services for individuals (veterans, men, women, families and children) that suffer from mental illnesses in my council district and across New York City.

Parks: I will fight to take back our park (Trump Golf Links at Ferry Point Park) from Donald Trump; I will fight for New York City to sever its business ties with Donald Trump.

Police Reform: I will fight for and advocate for laws that protect the rights of all individuals against police brutality in my council district and across New York City. I will advocate for the re-training of all police officers in New York City which will allow for a better relationship between law enforcement and the communities of New York City.

Small Businesses: I will advocate and fight for small business tax credits that would give small business owners incentives to hire local unemployed or underemployed individuals in my council district and across New York City.

I will advocate and fight for tax breaks for the small business owners in my council district and across New York City.

Taxi Drivers / NYC TLC: I will advocate and fight for NYC Taxi Drivers to earn fair wages from the TLC & private taxicab industry (i.e. - Uber & Lyft). I would advocate for Taxi Drivers to be protected by the same laws (giving them the same protections) as NYC MTA Bus & Train operators.

Voter Registration: I will fight for and advocate for laws, programs and services to educate and assist individuals with registering to vote.
